About My Little Bun
It started as a present for my wife. It is becoming the way families who cannot be in the room still get to share the moment.
Why it exists
I built the first card so my wife’s family — who live a long way from us — could feel the second the scan came back. A photo in a group chat is over before anyone has looked up. A parcel takes a week and arrives after the news.
My Little Bun is the middle: one link, sent the second you are ready, that everyone opens at the same time. Each person rubs the foil off on their own phone — with the sound, the haptics and the confetti — so the reveal happens in their hands rather than on a screenshot.
The gift
This is still that present. Every card is the same wish I had for her family: that the people who love you most are not left out of the room just because they live in another country. English and French live side by side here because that is how our families actually talk.
The Bun Club
A one-off card is a lovely trick. A community is the families who keep finding ways to be together across a distance. The Bun Club is that — new kinds of bun moments, the stories people send back, and a note when there is something worth opening. It lives at mylittlebun.com/community.
How it works
- Pick a theme and what the card reveals. Nothing is locked until you finish.
- Add a message, and an ultrasound photo if you want one.
- Test-scratch the real card yourself before anyone else sees it.
- Send one link. No app to install, no account to make, on any phone.
What it is not
It does not print anything, it does not host a photo album, and it does not post anywhere on your behalf. A card carries exactly one surprise and then it is done. The link never expires, so the card is still there when someone wants to look at it again.
